Combining elements of historic structures reports, marketing surveys and visioning sessions, Historic Properties Reuse Studies have been used in Minnesota for nearly twenty-five years to help communities make informed decisions about threatened historic buildings.

Marjorie (Margie) Ostrov of Friends of B’nai Abraham Synagogue, and Bob Roscoe of Design For Preservation, discuss the process after using a reuse study as the springboard their highly successful preservation project of B’nai Abraham Synagogue in Virginia, Minnesota.
