The 19th century researchers group will meet for their bi-monthly research meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, July 15, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Publications offices’ Knight Research Suite.

July Monthly Meeting
We will gather for the monthly research meeting at our regular day—this coming Tuesday, July 1, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Publications offices’ Knight Research Suite. Two “new” researchers may join us, both working on topics related to the memory of the Dakota War. Marcia Anderson and Debbie Miller will talk a bit about possible presentations or sessions for the Algonquin History Conference planned for the Twin Cities this October. (Please see the separate blog posting about this conference.)
If you can’t make the meeting but would like to send a message to the group (raising a question, asking for research help, making an announcement, or offering a suggestion), let Debbie or Kathie know. June Monthly Meeting

May Monthly Meeting
We will gather for the monthly research meeting this coming MONDAY, May 5, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the Publications offices’ Knight Research Suite. We will be having a special presentation on a new searching tool that MHS will be implementing. You get to be some of the first to see it, use it, and give feedback on anything you do or don’t like about it.

March Monthly Meeting
The monthly research meeting will be held the first Tuesday in March, this coming Tuesday, March 4, from 10:00 to noon in the Publications offices’ Knight Research Suite.
Debbie will report on progress planning the program for the MN150 history conference at St. John’s May 28-30. A lot of interesting panel proposals and individual paper proposals as well were submitted.
