“The State We’re In: Creative and Critical Approaches to Minnesota History at 150″ conference will be held May 28-30, 2008, in Collegeville, Minnesota, at Saint John’s University and the College of Saint Benedict.

Proposals are invited for presentation of scholarship, demonstrations, workshops, round-tables, works-in-progress on all aspects of Minnesota history. Individual or group proposals welcome. Proposals should be submitted in Word and should include title, brief abstracts, format, one-page vita for each participant. Deadline: February 15, 2008, to aatkins@csbsju.edu.

The conference will include sessions on the latest scholarship, teaching sessions and workshops, material culture exhibits, book displays, and tours/local foods. A writing retreat will be held May 30-June 1 to revise for submission for publication of conference proceedings.
