Coffee Pot

A Sunbeam Coffeemaster Model 30A vacuum drip coffee pot from the 1950s with electric heating element. It consists of two bulbous chrome aluminum pots that may be joined together, the upper for grounds and hot water, the lower to receive the coffee.

Merchant Marine Medal

A United States Merchant Marine World War II Victory medal consists of a bronze disc showing a female figure holding a trident in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, standing in a desert landscape. The reverse shows an anchor within a rope circle, around which is wound a ribbon marked “Firmitas”, “Adversaria” and “Superat”. Arranged in a circle around the edge is “United States Merchant Marine / 1941-1945″.

Quillwork Breeches

A Lakota boy’s leather knee-length breeche, made on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, South Dakota, circa 1900. They are machine and hand stitched and are lined in white cotton. Quillwork on both sides of the outside leg includes motifs of a thunderbird, a star and flowers using dyed red, green, purple and white quills.
