People’s Pantry Sign

A People’s Pantry price sign. Consists of wood sign painted white with red and blue hand-painted text. Reads “PEOPLES / PANTRY / PRICES / PER / POUND” at top. Granola was $0.40 a pound and black eyed peas were $0.16 a pound. The People’s Pantry was opened in 1970 on the West Bank and would later become North Country Co-op which closed in 2006.
