Clear: very nice day. Lincoln re-inaugerated. Busy at work on house. B. Genl. Davis relieved by Brig. Gen. Thos. McKean. River rising very rapidly. Received a letter from Mrs. P. More, Hastings, Minn. acknowledging the receipt of the Box & money I sent her, also one from Tony & a book from New York.
