Wednesday, January 28th, 2015Cloudy & variable[.] Cool in the morning warm in afternoon[.] Windy at night[.] On duty as B. O. of D. made the rounds twice during the day[.] had a nice little horse to ride “All quiet”[.] Writing reading &c. Saw Colonel Barritt and had a short talk with him.

Spool Rack
Wednesday, January 28th, 2015A spool rack used by Mrs. Quentin (Alice Lee Palmer) Horner, a Minneapolis dressmaker in the 1950s and 1960s. The rack consists of a wooden frame with ten (10) rungs, each with eight (8) nails holding spools of thread.
