Ojibwe Bandolier Bag

Ojibwe bandolier bag with front pocket. Pocket panel of loomed glass seed beads has geometric motifs, is attached to cloth backing and features integrated tabs finished with wool yarn tassels. Area above the pocket features a spot-stitch embroidered floral motif. Loomed seed bead panels are attached to cloth strap. Associated with the World’s Columbian Exposition and Becker County Indian Industries. Circa 1890s.
