Rocking Chair

Rocking chair made of wood, possibly oak. The chair has curved arms supported by stiles, a floral machine-carved crest rail above a cane back, and a wood seat with a perforated five-point star motif. The front legs and stretcher are turned while the back legs are saber. The chair is probably from a cabin built by the Freeman family between 1862 and 1863 on Birch Lake in White Bear township, Minnesota.
