Dear Sir
We are in receipt of your favor of 24[th] ult[imate]  but as we have no previous order for the Flag, we are at a loss to know whether we are to make 2 Flags or only one.
We can make a blue silk flag with Minnesota Arms on one side and U.S. Arms on the other with the Battles painted on as directed in yours of 24[th] ult[imate]  and an U.S. flag with Stars and Stripes with the Battles on the Field surrounded with Stars.
The two flags will cost $175.00
Please favor us with a reply.
Yours Respectfully
Horstmann Bros and Co
