Minneapolis residents wait in line to vote in the state gubernatorial election of 1938, in which Republican Harold Stassen defeated incumbent Elmer Benson to become the 25th governor of Minnesota.  Captured by a Minneapolis newspaper photographer on November 8, 1938.
