Civilian Conservation Corps trunk

Trunk and memorabilia used by Raphael John Buskowiak while he was enrolled in the United States Civilian Conservation Corps (C.C.C.) in Lake City and Plainview, Minnesota between 1938 and 1940. Inside the trunk are two photographs of Buskowiak, a blue felt pennant with the C.C.C. logo, a colored photographic reproduction of actress Deanna Durbin, a postcard printed with the phrase “Fishing is Good Here”, and a C.C.C. unit certificate awarded to Buskowiak for completing orientation.
