What a great podcast. As a retired history teacher and volunteer firefighter, my dad would have enjoyed watching the video posted here and being at the ceremony last Sunday on the grounds of the state capital. Unfortunately, my dad died a week before the dedication ceremony for the Fallen Firefighters Memorial, and his funeral was the day this podcast was filed. He loved the fire department and he would have loved to have seen the new installation of the memorial. Thank you for posting this video. And thank you to all the firefighters and first responders out there who put their lives on the line for us all every day.
