Civil War chess set

Chess set used during the Civil War by District Judge Henry G. Hicks of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who served as a First Lieutenant with the 93rd Illinois Regiment. One white pawn is missing from the set.  The collapsible board folds along a central seam, allowing both it and its chessmen to fit into the matching box.
