Gold bracelets
Pair of identical gold bracelets made in the 1870s and used in Red Wing, Minnesota. The engraved low-relief design features flower and leaf elements. The inside of each bangle is polished smooth. A push of a small button on the side reveals a box clasp set inside the hollow bangle. One bracelet opens on hinges but is constricted by an attatched gold safety chain; the other is missing its safety chain.
