Patched blue jeans
Handsewn, patchworked blue jeans of multiple fabric types including velveteen, floral printed cotton hopsacking, corduroy, cotton shirting prints and India cotton prints. Some of the patches are embellished with brush-on glitter and others are pinned with safety pins. Parts of the underlying blue jeans are visible at the waist and below the knee. Made and worn by Minneapolis resident Lorna Doone between 1968 and 1975.
