Railroad bell

Cast-iron railroad bell with clapper manufactured circa 1890-1900. The bell is bolted to both a brace and a stand with uprights. It is rung by means of the rope handle on its side.

    The bell you have here is dated incorrectly. It was produced post 1900. Automatic air ringer were not installed on locomotives until 1900. This one dates past 1910.
