1950s suburban history? Some would call it and oxymoron but is good to see organizations start to collect and publish histories of post-war suburbanization which had a huge impact on American society. Many in that generation that had a hand in the planning and execution of one of America’s largest social engineering experiments have now passed on or are very old.
