Muse in the Mississippi

Composer Eve Beglarian is spending the next three months kyaking down the Mississippi River collecting sounds and images along the river. The New York Times recently profiled Beglarian and her newest musical endeavor and noted that she is currently reading the MHS Press title, Ojibwe Singers: Hymns, Grief, and a Native Culture in Motion by Michael D. McNally.
